Congratulations to the 2018 Chili Cook-Off Champion Allen Hilton, and runner up Shane Hoover!

What a great day at Barfield Crescent Disc Golf Course, where we played two rounds of 20 holes in our annual Chili Cook-Off tournament. After playing in the wind and rain in our first round of the day, we stopped for lunch, and everyone sampled and voted on the many different Chili contest entries… all of which were amazing! We then played the second round in the afternoon. Thankfully, by the end of the day, the weather had cleared, and we even got a little sun for our awards ceremony at the end.

Not only was this tournament full of good golf and great food, it was also our annual fundraising event for the Rutherford County Food Bank… which was an overwhelming success!

Thank you to all of those who came out and played, for the donations to the food bank, and to all of those who worked hard to prepare Chili for the Cook-Off! Together, we made this a great and highly successful event.
